Amazon Nutrition S.A.C. was founded in the year 2000 by Productos Tropicales Nuristas shareholders (PTN S.A. - www.ptnsa.com). PTN S.A. had been in business since 1995 as an export supplier of natural products of Peruvian origin. Raw materials as Cat's Claw Bark and Maca Powder in bulk packing were among the first products exported back in the mid 90's. Then, in the year 2000 Amazon Nutrition was formed to better impulse the marketing of nutritional supplements and functional foods of Peruvian origin.

In the year 2001, Amazon Nutrition joined forces with PeruvianProducts.com to offer its natural products - Amazon Nutrition - brand to the online community.
